2023 North American Darts Championship Schedule/Preview: eight North American darters vie for World Darts Championship spot

On Saturday night, the North American Darts Championship is scheduled for North American darters. Here, eight players compete for the North American title and the corresponding spot at the World Darts Championship.

The top favorite is Tour Card holder Matt Campbell. The Canadian dart player will face Jason Brandon in the first round. If he wins, either Alex Spellman or JT Davis awaits in the first round.

Former champion Jeff Smith faces Jim Long in the first round. The final quarter-final is between Dutch American Jules van Dongen and Jake Mcmillan.

The contestants will all receive $1,250 in prize money anyway for participating in the 2023 North American Championship. This amount eventually rises to $10,000 for the winner.

The winner will also enter the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in December, which will also provide at least £7500 in prize money.
