Adam Hunt produces nine-dart finish, but loses to returning Kim Huybrechts

Following in the footsteps of Stephen Bunting, Adam Hunt also hit a nine-darter in the first round of Players Championship 11 on Tuesday, although 'The Hunt' went down 6-3 to Kim Huybrechts.

Hunt threw his perfect leg in the third leg via two 180 scores and a 141 finish. This gave the Englishman a 2-1 lead, but then managed to take just one more leg. Huybrechts convincingly won 6-3 thanks to an average of 100.87.

The Belgian can therefore speak of a very successful comeback, after being out of action for some time due to a double shoulder fracture. 'The Hurricane' broke his shoulder in two places after getting involved in a brawl after a soccer match of his favorite soccer club Royal Antwerp. Barely a month later, however, Huybrechts is already fit enough to play competitive darts.
