Martin Adams has done it again claiming a second straight Group win in A Night At The Darts as the third group of the week has concluded.
Not only that but Adams has continued his unbeaten run in the competition to two straight days (eight matches) as 'Wolfie' continues to find top form.
The three time Lakeside World Champion began his evening in a scoreline which could have seen his run ended at four games.
He faced off against Scott Mitchell and had to battle back from 4-1 down surviving four match darts in the process garnering a bit of luck on his side to claim a 5-4 victory and extend his run.
It was a lot more comprehensive though from there as he saw off David Evans who has been one of the best players in the MODUS competitions since their iteration and this put him in the position of being half way to achieving the aforementioned feat.
He edged past the other group winner this week in Boris Koltsov in a 5-3 win with a 96.8 average and then concluded proceedings from there edging past Wessel Nijman 5-4 in style.
Adams smashed in a 140 checkout in the decider to take home maximum points, can he make it three in a row tomorrow when Phil Taylor joins proceedings in a mouthwatering clash between the two legendary players?
Wessel Nijman and David Evans finished second and third respectively tonight after two wins and two defeats. Scott Mitchell has yet to recapture his form from last week but did not finish last tonight on leg difference.
He and Boris Koltsov picked up one win and three defeats in their campaigns tonight for two points each to their overall tallies.
