Searle produces brilliant display to defeat Gray and claim PDC Home Tour Group Six with three straight wins

Ryan Searle is the winner on Night Six of the PDC Home Tour claiming three straight legs in a brilliant series to reach the second round.

Searle began the night by comfortably beating Andy Boulton in a win that put him top of the table at the halfway stage with a tie against James Wade going a long way into potentially deciding the group winner.

It did so with the recent first time PDC ranking winner moving into pole position after a brilliant display to dispel Wade 5-3 with five 180s, a high checkout of 155; as well as a 100 average to boot.

From there, he made it three in a row with a 5-2 win over Adrian Gray where he increased his level even further with a 103.2 average to book his place in the next round.

He joins on the rolling total - Jamie Lewis, Luke Woodhouse, Dave Chisnall, Geert Nentjes and Nick Kenny in the second round and based off tonight, Searle might be one to watch.

Andy Boulton finished second in the group after smashing an out of sorts James Wade in a 5-0 whitewash win which saw X Factor claim it with only an 88 average but two ton plus checkouts. 'The Machine' had no darts at all at double and Boulton brought to an end a good night of action for him despite not winning through.
