"Already thousands of tickets sold" - Organization Flanders Darts Trophy delighted with high demand for tickets

Belgium gets to host a second European Tour tournament this year. From Sept. 6 to 8, the Flanders Darts Trophy will take place in Antwerp.

After the success of the Belgian Darts Trophy earlier this month, the demand for tickets is huge. Organizer Golazo announced that thousands of tickets have already been sold for the Flanders Darts Trophy. The tournament will take place at Antwerp Expo.

"Surely it is very nice to see that darts is also so popular in Antwerp," Alexander Algoet told Het Nieuwsblad on behalf of Golozo. "We have foreseen a capacity of 3,500 visitors. Good for a total of 21,000 darts fans. The success is unprecedented."

When you see how much media attention there was for the event in Wieze last weekend and how ticket sales for the tournament in Antwerp are now exploding, it's fair to say that a lot of Belgians are real darts fans."

The European Tour continues at the end of this month with the German Darts Grand Prix in Munich.
