Anderson after producing comeback to avert scare from Zong: 'I thought I was going out'

Kyle Anderson had to come from two sets down to avert a scare against Xiaochen Zong of China and move through to a tie against Steve Beaton.
Anderson spoke afterwards and was honest that he was even thinking about his options in terms of going back to Australia to spend time with his family.
'The Original' though was honest and said that he had a lot of the game go his own way especially with by own admission, his form not being the best coming into the tournament.
“I thought I was going out,” admitted Anderson.
“I feel like I had a lot of luck with the doubles he missed. My form has been absolutely abysmal coming into this tournament.
“I was on the stage thinking about booking a flight to Australia to spend Christmas with my family but somehow I got back into it and into the next round.”
