Richardson heaps praise on Suzuki after narrow win: 'I'm relieved to get the win but Mikuru is one hell of a player'

James Richardson is through to the second round at the 2020 PDC World Championship but only after overcoming a scare against Ladies World Champion, Mikuru Suzuki.
Richardson spoke afterwards and said that he very much had luck on his side on beating 'The Miracle'.
He also said that Suzuki's performance will have further ramifications on the future Ladies' game for the better after showing how good she is.
“I’m relieved to get the win but Mikuru is one hell of a player,” said Richardson.
“I’m lucky to get the win, I nicked it.
“Mikuru’s just put the ladies’ game on the map again and shown what she can do on the world stage.”
