The latest night of
Premier League Darts action has concluded with
Gary Anderson claiming a share of the spoils against
Michael van Gerwen.
A game which no matter what form either player is in attracts attention and there wasn't to be a clear winner tonight as Anderson claimed a deserved point.
The first few legs were shared between the pair before Van Gerwen went 3-2 up.
Anderson though returned to make it 3-3 before a pivotal part of the match which saw Van Gerwen make the first breakaway.
He punished five missed darts at doubles from Anderson with double nine pinned to make it 5-3 as he looked towards at least a point.
Anderson hit back though himself breaking back after MVG missed two for a point and it was 5-4.
They were sat at parity but with the legs running out, Van Gerwen picked out double 12 to guarantee himself a point but he couldn't nick a full points haul with Anderson assuring himself of a point.
