Wade produces comeback to edge past Wright in crucial Premier League clash

James Wade has claimed a crucial victory over Peter Wright as the fight to avoid relegation on Premier League Judgement Night continues.

Wade in the process reeled off four consecutive legs from 4-3 down to seal a 7-4 victory over Wright with a 105.7 average and 63% on the doubles to boot.

'The Machine' claimed an immediate break of throw with a 180 and a 100 checkout took out using two double 20's. He hit the same target again to double his advantage with a hold of throw.

Wright took out 76 to halve the deficit from there but Wade extended his lead with a 3-1 lead. But 'Snakebite' came back producing back-to-back legs to square it up at 3-3 and he was soon into the lead at 4-3 up.

This is where Wade's comeback started though as he kicked back into life and took out 60 with a break to go 5-4 up. He found double 20 again to make it 6-4 and closed out the win from there in what could be a pivotal points haul.
