Anderson eases past struggling Wright to return to winning ways in Premier League Darts

Gary Anderson is back to winning ways in this year's Premier League Darts in a potentially pivotal victory for his play-off hopes.

Anderson eased past a seemingly struggling Peter Wright 8-3 to end a three match losing streak with a 104.6 average, five 180's and 57% on the doubles.

The first two legs were shared before Anderson took out 63 to go 2-1 up on Wright and a break saw him further clear at 3-1 with a 103 average to boot as 'The Flying Scotsman' began firing on all cylinders.

Wright looked to be struggling with an injury of sorts and Anderson continued to take advantage from there going 5-2 up.

Anderson headed towards a point from there with a 72 checkout to break throw and stretch his lead to 6-2.

He continued his procession at 7-2 up with double 20 for a 13 darter before claiming the victory from there after a consolation hold from Wright.
