Anderson started proceedings off against Nick Kenny but wasn't at his best despite the win. 'The Flying Scotsman' collected the first points of the night in a 6-2 win over the Welshman with an average of 87.2 and 21 percent on the doubles.
He fared better though in his next tie against Luke Humphries hitting a 110 average with 6/11 on his doubles en route to a 6-1 victory to show some of the best darts so far from the two time World Champion.
Humphries himself began the night by seeing off Jamie Lewis in a 6-2 win with a 100.7 average and four 180's to get himself off the mark.
Lewis though didn't have to wait long to claim a win which keeps him in contention as he saw off Nick Kenny 6-4 to end the hopes of his fellow Welshman but this means so far like the previous nights, it is still very much anyone's to win.
The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.
