Anderson initially wasn't involved due to WiFi issues but the decision to get it sorted has seemingly paid dividends with the two time back-to-back World Champion through to the first semi-final.
He began his night in not the best form hitting just an average of 87.2 in a 6-2 win over Nick Kenny but soon switched gears towards his best easing past Luke Humphries 6-1 with a 110 average; this all coming despite an average of 102 from the World Youth Champion in reply.
Humphries kept his hopes of topping the group alive with a 6-1 win over Nick Kenny but the equation then became very simple for Anderson, all he had to do was claim a leg to finish top and he did so in his first against Jamie Lewis.
He didn't rest on his laurels though and claimed a 6-3 win over Lewis with a 98.6 average to finish a superb night from 'The Flying Scotsman'.
The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.
All games will be best of 11 legs and each night’s action will commence at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
In addition all live-scores can be followed on DartConnect; with match statistics being available after every match.
