Gary Anderson has come closer to a play-off spot in the Premier League Darts as he saw off Michael Smith 8-2 on Night 14 of the competition.

Anderson has now 19 points after 14 matches. One more point in his remaining two matches would be enough for The Flying Scotsman to qualify for the final night of the Premier League Darts.
Smith is likely to drop out of the race for the play-offs, as he needed a victory against Anderson. The former World Youth Championship won two of the first three legs, but missed a big opportunity to keep pace with Anderson.
The Scotsman broke Smith's throw in the sixth leg after Bullyboy missed five darts to level the match. Anderson hit double 2 to make 4-2 and claimed four more legs on the spin to claim the win.
