Anderson sees off Durrant in convincing fashion to end Premier League Darts Night Four

Gary Anderson has seen off Glen Durrant in convincing fashion inflicting a fourth straight defeat on the reigning Premier League champion to conclude Night Four in Milton Keynes.

Anderson won through 7-2 with a 97.5 average, four 180's and 58% on the doubles and moves onto five points as a result before a final clash of the week against Jonny Clayton tomorrow.

Anderson claimed an early lead in the tie hitting a 48 checkout on double 20 but Durrant soon levelled with minimum fuss.

It was the former though who claimed the first break. Despite missing two at double 20 for a 58 finish, he landed the same target for a 13-dart break which saw him 3-1 ahead.

This was consolidated with a 62 checkout on double 20. Durrant produced a potentially confidence boosting 108 checkout to go 4-2 down but Anderson restored his three leg lead following that and claimed at least a point.

That 108 checkout proved a mere consolation for Durrant as Anderson closed out the victory from there successfully.
