The 2021
Premier League Darts standings have been updated after the penultimate night of the first block of action.
Dimitri Van den Bergh remains on top of the standings as the only unbeaten player left in the lineup. This came after his draw with
Peter Wright 6-6.
Second is currently
Nathan Aspinall who despite having a nine-dart finish hit against him drew with
Jose de Sousa in a quality tie.
While
Michael Van Gerwen is down to third on the same points tally as Aspinall after losing his first tie of the league phase against
James Wade in convincing fashion.
Jonny Clayton who rounds out the top four similarly lost his first match of the tournament last night and only sits a leg behind Mighty Mike also on five points.
Rob Cross and
Gary Anderson bounced back from defeats to sit level with Clayton and Van Gerwen in fifth and sixth while Peter Wright is seventh with four points.
Wade saw off Van Gerwen and added his first win to escape the bottom two while Jose de Sousa hasn’t had luck on his side and sits on only two points in front of
Glen Durrant who remains on zero points.
