Gary Anderson has claimed his first Premier League Darts win since Week One of the tournament after edging out Jonny Clayton in a 6-5 victory in Nottingham.
Anderson survived a match dart en route against Clayton in a last leg decider and will now face his World Cup teammate Peter Wright in the semi-finals.
The winner will face off against either Gerwyn Price or Michael Smith in the final of Week Six in Nottingham.
To begin the tie, Anderson took out 70 to lead before hitting the front at 2-1 on double 10. The turning point came at 4-2 as Anderson hit bull on a blocked target with a 92 checkout.
Clayton replied with a 107 checkout to break back for a 4-3 deficit. Anderson went one away with a 64 checkout at 5-3.
It went all the way to 5-5 before Anderson finally claimed it albeit after surviving a match dart.
While Peter Wright battled his way to a 6-4 win over Joe Cullen on his return after having a back injury which kept him out of the latter stages of the German Darts Championship.
Wright punished two missed matches at doubles from Cullen to lead 2-1 and he pounced after 'The Rockstar' missed double eight for a 136 checkout.
Cullen took out 100 to stay in contention at 3-2 but Wright moved 5-3 up with a 66 checkout and one away. He missed two match darts in the requisite leg before it was made 5-4 but he sealed it in the next leg.
