Nathan Aspinall has extended his lead atop the Premier League Darts standings after the return to action with Night Ten on Wednesday night in Milton Keynes.
Aspinall, last year's losing finalist continued his momentum with an 8-5 victory over Peter Wright and sits two points ahead of Michael van Gerwen in second.
A massive win for Mighty Mike on Night Ten against a rival in Dimitri van den Bergh for one of the top four spots. He averaged just shy of 110 and the five-time champion will look to now head for the summit and displace 'The Asp'.
Van den Bergh sits third after that defeat but has Jonny Clayton now breathing down his neck with one point separating them before Jose de Sousa who produced another quality display against Gary Anderson sits on the verge of the top four.
James Wade is the next forerunner after defeat against Jonny Clayton, he is on 10 points. While Peter Wright (9 points) and Gary Anderson (8 points) will be looking for an upturn in their fortunes to join the chasing pack.
