Aspinall safely through with Williams win as Gilding records first victory over Chisnall in nearly eight years

Nathan Aspinall and Andrew Gilding are the next players through to the Quarter-Finals at the 2023 German Darts Grand Prix after victories on Sunday afternoon in Munich.

Aspinall safely moved past Jim Williams in a 6-3 win with the Welshman unable to back up dumping out home hope, Martin Schindler last night. 'The Asp' sealed victory with a high checkout of 150 en route.

While Gilding recorded his first win over Dave Chisnall in nearly eight years snapping a big losing streak averaging over 99 in the process in a 6-5 victory.

Albeit, he did survive three match darts in sealing victory in a deciding leg so that losing run nearly went on for the newly crowned UK Open champion.
