The Quarter-Final line-up is confirmed at the
German Darts Grand Prix with
Luke Humphries and
Joe Cullen set to face off later this evening in Munich.
Cullen has struggled as of late and admitted yesterday that the Premier League snub got to him mentally but it seems wins are doing him good with a 6-3 victory over Lee Evans after his tight win over Ross Smith yesterday.
He produced a 96.7 average in the process as well as 42.9% on the doubles with two 180's in ending Evans' run for another week.
While for Humphries who is defending champion, he saw off Jose de Sousa 6-2 with a sublime conclusion for 'Cool Hand Luke'.
He averaged 99 and defied seven 180's from De Sousa in order to move through and did it with a sublime 152 checkout to claim the victory in a warning sign to the other players going into the final session.
