Krzysztof Ratajski has claimed a first PDC title of 2019 after a rampant 8-3 victory over Nathan Aspinall in the final of Players Championship 17 in Wigan.

Ratajski stood out throughout the day at the Robin Park Tennis Centre and went 5-1 up with ease including a 144 and 122 checkout. Aspinall claimed consolation legs here or there but the writing was on the wall for the UK Open champion.
'The Polish Eagle' soared to the title in an 8-3 win to complete an almost perfect day and add his name once again to the Players Championship roll of honour.
It is a fourth overall PDC ranking title for him in 16 months with him only having a Tour Card for around 6 of those months with him showing once again that he is one of the most dangerous players on the tour right now.
Despite losing out, Aspinall had a brilliant day and showed some lethal form only just missing out to a rampant Ratajski in the end.
