Baggish reflects on World Championship run: “What an experience that was. That’s something I will always have with me”

Danny Baggish won through to the third round of the 2021 PDC World Darts Championship losing out to Glen Durrant but defeating Adrian Lewis along the way.

Baggish spoke to The Darts Show podcast when he returned home and he admitted it is something that will stay with him going forward and that he hopes to make progression now.

“What an experience that was. One of the players I looked up to growing up, still look up to. I’ll never forget that, that’s something I will always have with me and hopefully that’s a good trend, last year made it to the second round. This year third round,” said Baggish to Darts Show podcast.

He also revealed the story of his tattoos with a Chicago Bulls and San Francisco 49’ers one on his arm as well as his plans for Q-School.

“I had one brother and two sisters. I was watching sports back in the 90’s when I was about 12 and I would root for their teams. Being the young one they’d hate that, root for your own team Danny. I picked the best team in every single sport in the US and I became a die hard fan.”

“I’m hoping so, I’m already paid and entered. I plan on coming over first week of February. Four or five days before hand just to kind of relax and hopefully I get my Tour Card.”
