Steve Beaton has began preparation for his tie against Fallon Sherrock at the PDC World Darts Championship with victory in an exhibition in Dudley.

Luke Woodhouse and Jamie Hughes won through the preliminary round with victories over Ian White and Jose de Sousa with Beaton defeating Woodhouse and Michael Smith easing past Jamie Hughes.
While in the final, Beaton edged past Smith in a 4-3 to claim the latest Tungsten Hold Em title.
