From March 20 to 22, 2026, the PDC European Tour touches down in Belgium for the Belgian Darts Open 2026. The Oktoberhallen in Wieze once again provide the stage for this Euro Tour event, part of a series of fourteen tournaments played across Europe. Alongside sporting prestige, there is attractive prize money on offer, while Belgian fans traditionally ensure a packed and vibrant arena.
A total of £230,000 in prize money will be distributed during the tournament. Players entering in the first round are guaranteed a minimum payout of £2,000, with amounts rising sharply each round. The winner ultimately collects a top prize of £35,000.

How is the prize money allocated?

Every player who qualifies for the tournament has the chance to claim a share of the pot. The breakdown is as follows:
Winner – £35,000
Runner-up – £15,000
Semi-finalists – £10,000
Quarter-finalists – £8,000
Third round – £5,000
Second round – £3,500*
First round – £2,000*
An important regulatory point at Euro Tour events is that seeded players who are directly placed into the second round via the Order of Merit do not have their prize money credited to the rankings if they lose their first match. In that case, the prize money does not count towards any standings. It is different for qualifiers. If a player qualifies through a qualifier and, due to withdrawals, is subsequently designated as a seed, the prize money they win does count towards the rankings.
The prize money distributed in Wieze counts towards multiple rankings. It affects the PDC Order of Merit and the Pro Tour Order of Merit, but most notably the European Tour Order of Merit. That table is crucial, as only the top 32 on that ranking qualify for the European Championship later in the season.
Position on that list also determines seeding for that season finale. The higher a player stands on the European Tour Order of Merit, the more favorable the European Championship draw. That means there is more at stake in Wieze than prize money alone, with players also fighting for the strongest possible position heading into the showpiece Euro Tour finale, scheduled for October.
