Both Lowe and Blades eased through their respective final ties against Steve Brown and Tony Newell, both established players and former Tour Card holders in their own right.
The former will be well known to some fans of darts with the West Midlands ace previously appearing on the European Tour; as well as reaching a ProTour semi-final back in a 2017 UK Open Qualifier and after previous attempts, Lowe will make a step up to the PDC Tour for the first time.
As will Blades who has previously competed in the UK Open way back in 2005 and has plied his trade mainly on the Challenge Tour with mixed results. The Lincoln ace has averaged between 81 and 91 all day and eased past 'The Bear' to also join the tour for the first time.
They were joined earlier by another surprise name in Harald Leitinger who defeated Martijn Kleermaker to win the first Tour Card from European Q-School earlier today.
