Brilliant Beaton continues run with Cullen win as Clayton seals Bunting victory in style at Baltic Sea Darts Open

Steve Beaton continues to roll back the years at the Baltic Sea Darts Open and the legendary Bronzed Adonis is now into the Quarter-Finals in Kiel.

Beaton saw off Joe Cullen in a superb 6-4 win to book his spot in the final session with a high checkout of 142 en route.

He led 3-0 initially but double trouble crept in for Beaton after hitting the aforementioned 142 checkout. Soon it was parity with Cullen making it 3-3 with a 47 checkout.

Beaton crept back ahead with a 100 checkout with Cullen not able to hit 80 for the leg and he never relinquished the lead going 5-4 up and it was double trouble for Cullen next time around as Beaton sealed the win on double one with a 24 darter.

He will now face Jonny Clayton who prevailed over Stephen Bunting in a 6-2 win.

This featured 66% on the doubles and it was one of his trademark 121 checkouts that gave him the win.

Bunting was sat ready on a potential 10-darter but wasn't even afforded a shot by Clayton who will look to end the run of Beaton later this evening.
