Beau Greaves continues her march atop the PDC
Women's Series Order of Merit with the Doncaster thrower winning back-to-back titles on Saturday in Milton Keynes.
After two months without PDC Women's Series action, it was the turn of Events 13-14 in Milton Keynes and normal service for Greaves. She won Event 12 in April too so technically it is three in a row. She has won 20 matches on the spin.
She won Event 13 dismissing Fallon Sherrock in the final with a superb 11-darter which saw her a resounding winner. She then overturned a 3-1 deficit against Lorraine Winstanley in the Event 14 final.
She had seen off Jane Biggs, Lauryn Salter, Juliane Birchall and Debra Watling to reach the Quarter-Finals of Event 14 where she saw off Lisa Ashton 5-2.
She then faced former event winner Gemma Hayter for the second successive event reeling off five straight legs en route to victory. After a poor start, she toppled Winstanley and now moves onto Sunday with Events 15-16.
She will know already that she is in Blackpool but the Women's World Matchplay race also reaches its climax so a big day is there in the offing in Milton Keynes. But one thing is for sure, Greaves is still the woman to beat.
