Brooks wins thrilling conclusion to PDC UK Development Tour, set for World Darts Championship return

Bradley Brooks sealed the PDC UK Development Tour on Sunday evening in a thrilling end to proceedings winning a straight shootout with Keelan Kay 5-1 in the final.

Brooks needed a good run in the final event with Nathan Rafferty on top after his Event 11 win and he survived ten match darts from Rhys Griffin before seeing off Keane Barry, one of his main rivals Dom Taylor and Jimmy Bristow before taking down Kay.

The reigning World Youth Champion will take his place in the field at the Alexandra Palace for the 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship in just over a months time after playing last year.

He will also take home a two-year Tour Card if he fails to retain his with 'Bam Bam' currently sitting inside the top 80 but with his World Championship spot, he could yet retain it by right.

His Grand Slam spot though will go to Nathan Rafferty due to Brooks' World Youth title claiming him a spot through that route and he was the next placed player on the Order of Merit.
