Brown like his fellow players in the remainder of the PDC Home Tour groups are playing again after for most of the players finishing second in their group.
For the former ranking winner, he began his night against Conan Whitehead dispatching him in a 5-0 whitewash. He did so with a 91 average and despite hitting 5/16 on his doubles, Whitehead hit 0/6 of his attempts.
From there, he reeled off five consecutive legs from 2-0 down to defeat Martin Atkins 5-2 and move onto four points; after Atkins himself smashed in a 102 average and 5/8 on the doubles to see off Mike de Decker.
Every evening, the four players will each face off; with each match being the best of nine legs. This group stage lasts 32 days with that amount of players set to reach the next round to play it out from there to crown a winner.
All players have webcams set up in their houses and say their scores out loud; to make sure that they can be inputted correctly without any cheating taking place.
With each night’s action commencing at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
