Keegan Brown has continued his excellent run at the Czech Darts Open this time accounting for Mensur Suljovic in a brilliant win for the Isle of Wight ace.
It is a second
European Tour semi-final of the season for 'The Needle' who saw off Suljovic in a resounding 6-2 win.
This included a 103.7 average and 66 percent on the doubles as Brown showed that his win over Van Gerwen on Saturday in particular was no fluke.
It didn't start great for him though with a bounceout meaning an early break was dealt by Suljovic but he broke back himself going 3-1 up.
He did so again this time taking out 107 to go 4-2 ahead of the Austrian with a 106 average, 'The Gentle' wasn't playing too bad either with his average at 107 but Brown's doubling was doing the damage.
It continued in that vein with Brown going to within one at 5-2 and he finished the job to continue what could be a groundbreaking run.
His next opponent will be
Stephen Bunting who had more of a battle on his hands seeing off Daryl Gurney in a 6-3 win.
It was a scrappy affair with both players averaging just under 91 but it was 'The Bullet's slender advantage doubling which was the key.
He ended the tie at 35 percent compared to 27 percent for Gurney meaning it was close but that Bunting took his chances when they mattered.
