Most darters use the month of August to take a few weeks away from the dartboard and their darts colleagues, but Stephen Bunting and Ross Smith are going out together.
The two Englishmen boarded a plane Wednesday for a tour of the United States. Bunting and Smith, along with American darter Danny Baggish, will be at three demonstration events on the other side of the ocean.
Bunting and Smith have a few days to get used to the time difference, as they are expected to attend a demonstration event in Philadelphia on July 29 and 30. They will then travel on to New York, where they will perform August 3 act. The tour will then conclude with an event in Wisconsin from Aug. 4 to 6.
'The Bullet' and 'Smudger,' by the way, have several weeks to rest after that. August 26 and 27 are only the next Pro Tour tournaments scheduled for PDC Tour Card holders.
