CALENDAR: These are the dates of all Players Championship tournaments in 2025

In 2025, the Players Championship circuit will have 34 tournaments, four more than in recent years. Like last year, all ProTour tournaments will only be played on weekdays.
The field of participants in a Players Championship tournament consists of 128 players. These are usually the 128 PDC Tour Card holders. If a Tour Card holder does not register or later withdraws, the highest ranked players on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit are invited to fill the vacant spots.
The 34 Players Championship tournaments will be held throughout the year at Wigan, Rosmalen, Leicester, Hildesheim and Milton Keynes. Rosmalen makes its debut on the Players Championship calendar. The Dutch venue will host four floor tournaments. The first Players Championship tournaments are on Feb. 10 and 11 in Wigan, while the final three tournaments will be finished in Wigan from Oct. 28-30.

Sixteen boards are used at each Players Championship tournament. Four of these boards can be seen on a live stream via PDC TV. In addition, the scores of all other matches can also be followed live on DartConnect.
Through the floor tournaments, players can force qualification for the major televised tournaments. The Players Championship tournaments count toward qualification races for the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and World Darts Championship. Moreover, playing Players Championship tournaments is the only way to secure a spot for the Players Championship Finals.

- Likewise, I have always been a fan of Mervyn and with this worry on his mind, it explains why his form and ranking plummeted. It is really sad to hear this, often chatted to Mervyn and Tracey during the Lakeside days, both are lovely people. It does seem naive not acknowledging the fact it was earnings, surely there must be others in the same situation. - What’s with the dogs element to this story, trying to pull at the heart strings? Just goes to show that being a good dart player does not equate to being that bright. Seriously, ‘I thought you didn’t have to pay tax on winnings’ , your a pro dart player and its your line of work, your not playing the lottery or placing a bet. - The thing is... the folks who "humiliated" Taylor in the Seniors Events never really achieved anything in the important events - like Taylor did. Taylor had/has nothing to prove... and beating Taylor after he had retired is of zero value. Taylor in his prime would have made easy work of all of them. Cheers.MrYnyslas197107-03-2025
