Callan Rydz has put in by far the best performance of the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship so far. Averaging over 107, Rydz ran riot, losing just two legs in a 3-0 demolition of Croatian Romeo Grbavac.
In double-quick time, Rydz raced through the opening set. With legs of 13, 11 and 14, the former World Championship quarterfinalist left Grbavac hopeless. As Rydz headed off stage one set to the good, his average was up over the 118 mark.

Opening set with an 11-dart hold of throw, Rydz average was pushed up even higher. Grbavac, averaging over 99 himself wasn't exactly playing badly, and the Croat secured himself a first leg of the match on double 10 in the following leg. With a 13-darter though, Rydz was right back at it in leg 3. Despite wiring tops for a set winning 139 checkout, Rydz returned to hit the double and move two sets clear, still averaging over 114.
Despite a few misses on the outer ring, double 9 gave Rydz the opener of set 3. A 47 checkout then made 2-0 in the third set. Grbavac kept himself alive, winning a second leg via a 100 checkout, but Rydz was undeterred, sealing victory with his second matchdart on tops.
