At 1 p.m, the sixteenth Players Championship tournament of the season gets underway in Milton Keynes. After his win yesterday, Luke Littler will be looking for back to back Pro Tour glory.

In the opening round of this tournament, Littler has the challenging tie of the reigning Lakeside champion Andy Baetens to overcome. Elsewhere, world champion and world number one Luke Humphries faces the experienced Dutchman, Jermaine Wattimena.

Gary Anderson was in top form yesterday, posting an average of over 123 in victory over Andrew Gilding at one point. In the first round today, the Scot faces off against Adam Warner. Elsewhere, top names such as Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Dave Chisnall, Jonny Clayton, Stephen Bunting, Raymond Van Barneveld and Ryan Searle are also among the competitors.

A total of 125,000 pounds in prize money is distributed at each Players Championship tournament. The winner of the event will receive a check for 15,000 pounds.
