The action is at the halfway stage in the PDC Home Tour with victories so far for Dave Chisnall, Scott Waites and Jonathan Worsley.
Chisnall who will be aiming to avoid the big name curse which has seen Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price both bow out in the first two nights started well in that pursuit seeing off Waites in a 5-2 victory which was commanding from the St Helens ace.
He showed his scoring power as well in hitting five 180's and a 102.7 average en route. Worsley was next up in facing off against Jan Dekker and the Welshman raced into a 4-1 lead but it wasn't the end of it with Dekker coming back from 4-1 down to break and then throw for the match.
Despite that though, 'Womble' found his way through to avert the comeback from the Dutchman. He couldn't find a way past past Waites though who was clinical in a 5-1 victory.
This included a 96.8 average, 5/9 on the doubles and also a brilliant 146 checkout; as well as even some dad jokes before the contest began which prompted Dan Dawson to joke about taking a leg away.
The PDC Home Tour is a nightly league format will see all four competitors play each other once in matches played over the best of nine legs; with a winner crowned each night who will then go onto the next phase of the competition.
This means that 32 players will battle it out from the second round onwards; with a winner crowned from there. It will be shown on PDCTV for free with betting sites also showing the action in full in a large innovation announced by the PDC.
