The afternoon session is complete at the Gibraltar Darts Trophy with a St Helens duo in particular starring in Michael Smith and Dave Chisnall.

Chisnall averaged 103.41 in an impressive win over Jeffrey de Zwaan - who had a five match winning streak over him. He struck in the deciding leg claiming the only break of throw in the match to win the tie and moved through in a closely fought affair.
Smith wasn't as impressive but his margin of victory was. He smashed Danny Noppert 6-1 to continue his hopes also of making it to Gottingen. 'Bully Boy' has now made it a bit easier as well due to knocking Noppert out of the race with victory. Can the last dash reap big rewards for the St Helens ace.
Daryl Gurney is also through after edging past the surprise challenge of Carl Wilkinson who looked good despite a nervy performance yesterday against 17-year old qualifier Justin Hewitt. 'Superchin' though saw off him off in a 6-4 win with a 97 average.
