Clayton 'chuffed to bits' after ending first Premier League action with Anderson win: "It's a dream, I've got 7 points and it's massive"

Jonny Clayton has ended the first block of Premier League action top of the pile after a brilliant opening foray in his debut season and it was capped off with an excellent win over Gary Anderson.

Clayton spoke afterwards and was ecstatic with the start he has made to Premier League life and called it 'a dream'.

"Chuffed to bits to be honest. I was coming here this week if I'd lost ever game, I'd just tried my very best to play my best darts but it's gone really well for myself," said Clayton post match.

"I didn't feel as good last night as I did tonight but Rob (Cross) smashed me so at the end of the day, it is what it is. I'm a happy man to beat one of my favourite players."

"It's a dream. On Monday night against Peter (Wright), I think I should have had two points there so it could have been a bit better but whatever it is, I've got 7 points and it's massive."
