Jonny Clayton will face Peter Wright in the second semi-final this evening at the 2021 Players Championship Finals after a 10-3 rout against Vincent van der Voort.
Clayton reeled off nine straight legs from 3-1 down to see off Van der Voort as he looks to add another major ranked title to his collection.
This was all despite 'The Ferret' not being at his best averaging 89.6 with five 180's but only 10/33 on doubles.
After being 3-2 down, he produced four consecutive legs to go two clear in front of Van der Voort who missed 15 darts at doubles.
At the next interval, Clayton was only averaging 87 but was cruising to victory at 7-3 up with Van der Voort not getting another leg from there. He missed one at double 20 and Clayton moved 9-3 up before sealing it on double eight.
