The final session of action is coming up at the 2021
Players Championship Finals with four players left in the running for the last major ranked title of the season.
Two have never claimed major ranking titles and two have been perennial winners but have never tasted glory at this tournament.
Peter Wright has reached the semi-final twice in this tournament and will be the favourite to add to his World Matchplay title won earlier this year.
He dethroned Michael van Gerwen who was aiming for a seventh triumph in a terrific display but will face the current Masters, Premier League, World Series Finals and World Grand Prix champion in
Jonny Clayton.
Two of the best in the world will clash in the second tie of the evening session with fireworks likely.
While in the first semi-final, it is a return for the first time since 2012 to this point of a ranked major for
Brendan Dolan who faces a maiden semi-finalist in
Ryan Searle.
A game befitting of the ProTour finals with both in supreme form on the floor tournaments over the past 12 months.
With a maiden major on the line as well as a Grand Slam spot for the finalist and maybe even a Premier League debut, can Dolan or Searle produce again tonight?
In between those two tussles and the final will be the
World Youth Championship final which was decided earlier and will see
Nathan Rafferty face
Ted Evetts.
Important with an extra PDPA Qualifier spot available if Evetts wins due to already being qualified while Rafferty could book his own Ally Pally spot with a triumph tonight.
