Jonny Clayton couldn't another Premier League Darts title to his collection on Thursday at the 02 Arena. Running into his compatriot Gerwyn Price in rampant form, Clayton suffered a 10-2 semi-final defeat.
Following the encounter, 'the Ferret' took to Twitter praising Price. "My god, Gezzy I stood behind you mate hoping that you would consider treble 1 instead of the twenties. Absolutely quality mate. All the best tonight & keep the form for the World Cup."
Sadly for Price it wasn't to be in the final with Michael van Gerwen taking the title. Nevertheless the signs are definitely still positive for the Welsh pair with the World CUP of Darts on the horizon.
