Clayton on reaching Premier League Darts finals night: "That's what we're all out here for"

Jonny Clayton sealed his spot at Premier League Darts Finals Night by seeing off Michael van Gerwen in the final in Glasgow to seal another weekly title.

Clayton spoke afterwards and was pleased to achieve his initial goal with finishing top his next goal after securing his spot.

"It's nice to see that Q (Qualified) next to my name, that's what we're all out here for is to get to the top four. Played well tonight, really happy with my game, I was quite calm," he said to Sky Sports.

"This crowd were fantastic, against Gary they were a bit different but fair play to this lot. It's much easier the last game than the game before."

"I'd love to finish top but it's that top four you want to be in. Finish top would be amazing. I seem to see Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright every week, hopefully I carry on winning games."
