Clayton has collected 34 points during the past thirteen weeks of play. Van Gerwen follows in second place with 28 points. He still needs a maximum of three points to be sure of a place in Dublin.
The rankings remained unchanged after the match night in Glasgow. James Wade is number three with 25 points, followed by Peter Wright in fourth place with 20 points. Joe Cullen is the first player to finish outside the playoffs with 15 points. Behind them are Gerwyn Price (thirteen points), Michael Smith (twelve points) and Gary Anderson (nine points).
