Clayton reflects after brilliant nine-dart finish at UK Open: “I’m chuffed to bits”

Despite that though it wasn’t the victory that received the plaudits, it was his brilliant nine-dart finish en route which is the first in the competition in over 3 years.

"It's a very special moment for me and I'm chuffed to bits," said Clayton. "It's my first nine-darter in any tournament, so it's a good feeling.

"I've had a few in practice but only my dog was watching, so to do it in front of a crowd has shown that I can do it."
