Jonny Clayton will face Joe Cullen in the final of the second week of Premier League Darts action in Liverpool after both sealed terrific comeback wins in the semi-finals.
Clayton was first up facing off against Michael van Gerwen who must have fancied his chances after sweeping aside Peter Wright and also going 4-1 up against 'The Ferret'.
But despite a 105 average from MVG, he lost out 6-4 with Clayton reeling off five consecutive legs alongside a 106.6 average and 67% on the doubles to move through.
Many would have thought that a tie with Gerwyn Price between the two World Cup teammates and rivals at the top of the game was incoming and again it was a similar equation in his tie with Joe Cullen.
Cullen like Clayton against Van Gerwen came from the brink to seal a stunning win.
'The Rockstar' who previously saw off James Wade added 'The Iceman' to his tally tonight in Liverpool by coming from 5-2 down with four legs on the spin to edge through 6-5 with a 101.5 average and four 180's.
Who joins Peter Wright in the winners' circle in this year's Premier League Darts? Will it be the defending champion or the debutant?
