Clayton threw darts in the bin after Premier League Darts Cardiff disappointment: "But I missed that bloody thing as well"

There was disappointment for Jonny Clayton as he failed to seal victory in front of his home crowd and he joked that he threw his darts away and missed that too at the Premier League Darts in Cardiff.

"You won't get that reception anywhere else. Obviously we play our games in England, so to have that you want to do well and I failed, nevermind next time," he said to Online Darts.

"I came off the stage and threw the darts in the bin but I missed that bloody thing as well. We'll try again next week."

Clayton hopes that in future more tournaments will take place in Wales but isn't holding his breath.

"It'll be great to have more tournaments in Wales. We go everywhere else, travel to Germany, Holland, they get plenty of tournaments. We're always in England so why don't we get a few more in Wales. Crossed fingers that happens, will it happen? Probably not but I hope so."
