Gabriel Clemens will take part in the
World Matchplay in Blackpool for the third time from 16 to 24 July. Together with Martin Schindler, he is one of the two German participants in the prestigious tournament.
Last year Clemens went down 10-2 against José de Sosua in the first round. The German Giant' will get a chance for revenge as the draw has paired the two players together again.
"I get the chance for a revenge after losing very clearly last year after a weak performance," Clemens wrote on his Facebook. ''I will do everything to win and give everything.''
Last week Clemens was in action in four Players Championship tournaments. His highlight was a final, which he did lose 8-0 to Dirk van Duijvenbode. Positive for me was that I had an average of over 100. I also threw a lot of 180's'', Clemens said.
