Lewis holds multiple 180 records at World Matchplay

On his return to the World Matchplay, Adrian Lewis heads there trying to defeat a familiar rival in Michael van Gerwen but despite never winning the title at the Winter Gardens. He holds multiple records.

Lewis has the most 180 scores in one match and in one edition of the World Matchplay to his name. Both records date back to 2013.

In that year the two-time world champion hit a 180 56 times at the Winter Gardens. He threw most of his 180 scores in the final. Lewis scored nineteen, but lost 18-13 to Phil Taylor.
