Prize money breakdown for 2022 World Matchplay with £800,000 on offer

The World Matchplay is scheduled for this year from 16 to 24 July. An amount of £800,000 will be distributed during this prestigious event.

All 32 participants in the World Matchplay are guaranteed a minimum of £10,000 in prize money, which is equivalent to the amount paid out in the event of a first-round defeat. A win in the first round is worth £15,000 anyway.

The quarter-finalists will receive £30,000 and the losers of the semi-finals will receive £50,000.

The finalists will earn £100,000 anyway, while the winner will take home £200,000 and the Phil Taylor Trophy.
