Rob Cross is through to the semi-finals of PDC Home Tour Play-Offs after two wins out of three claiming the requisite legs needed despite losing his final match to Luke Woodhouse.
Cross started off the evening with a 6-3 victory over
Daniel Larsson with 6/9 on the doubles and he followed that up with a 6-4 win over
Ryan Searle to make it back-to-back and put himself in the position to move through.
As a result going into the final match, he only needed three legs to claim it and he did so making it 3-2 but Woodhouse from there edged past him in a last leg decider where he finished it off with a 109 checkout in style.
'Voltage' though will now join the likes of Gary Anderson and Dave Chisnall in the next round so far and he is the first to be involved in
PDC Home Tour Semi-Final Group Two.
The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.
All games will be best of 11 legs and each night’s action will commence at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live
on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
