Cross, Whitlock, Beaton and Lewis among qualifiers for Hungarian Darts Trophy

Rob Cross, Simon Whitlock, Steve Beaton and Adrian Lewis are among the qualifiers for the Hungarian Darts Trophy as the European Tour is set to return in September.

Cross saw off Justin Pipe in his final match 6-3 with a 97 average, while Whitlock defeated Martijn Kleermaker 6-3.

Beaton who is known for his record of qualifying for the European Tour extended that against a fellow mainstay who will not be involved in Ian White 6-2.

Lewis eased past Gabriel Clemens 6-2. While among those who didn't qualify include Glen Durrant (l. 6-1 to Florian Hempel), Raymond van Barneveld (l. 6-4 Geert Nentjes).

Other players qualified were Keane Barry, Boris Krcmar, William O'Connor, Bradley Brooks, William Borland, Luke Humphries, Madars Razma, Alan Soutar, Jake Jones, Darren Webster, Daryl Gurney, Joe Murnan, Keegan Brown, Geert de Vos, Lewy Williams, John Michael and Ross Smith.
