Cullen who didn't perform to his best at the World Series of Darts Finals after some good form on the PDC Autumn Series was back in the winners' circle with a 6-4 victory over Adam Hunt in which he averaged 94.7, hitting three 180's and 55% on his doubles in a polished display.
Fans of Nico Kurz and James Wade had a long wait today with the latter missing his flight so he was on last instead of this afternoon and it was 'The Machine' who won through to complete the lineup 6-2.
The crowd were very much behind the German youngster but in the end experience counted as Wade who made the semi-finals in Salzburg last week losing out to Rob Cross, he is in good form though and will hope that tomorrow sees him add to his European Tour tally.
